Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature previously hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish and have now been moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is books I enjoyed reading but can’t remember much about. It sucks when I remember enjoying a book but can’t remember most of what happened in it! This usually happens when I don’t write a review for a book, I tend to forget what the story is about. Here are ten books that I really liked (rated 4 stars on Goodreads) but unfortunately, can’t recall most of the contents of the book:

That’s five specfic romance (or specfic with romantic elements) and five contemporary romance titles. What about you, do you have problems remembering books that you enjoyed reading too? If you were to make a list like this, what titles would you include?
Sometimes we read far too much to remember every single book! I did really enjoy Cruel Beauty though!
That’s a nice way of putting it! I do agree that sometimes we read way too many books to remember every title. And yes, I remember enjoying Cruel Beauty too. Just that I can’t recall much about it.😂
My problem is that I forget everythiiiing! 😦
Oh no! Even the ones you loved, like 5-star reads? I tend to remember those. Maybe it will help if you write short reviews of them?
That’s quite an exaggeration on my part! Haha! I do remember them, but I would vry much prefer it if my brain would store the tiniest details so that when I tell people to read certain titles, I have some prepared justifications! 😉
Masque does have an interesting cover, I must admit.
Masque is a Beauty and the Beast retelling. It was a freebie when I got it so hopefully it will become a Kindle deal again!
I haven’t read any of these but they look quite interesting. I guess we have limited brain storage to remember all the bookish information 😛
I hope you get to re-read a few of them soon 😛

Yes, I think there isn’t enough storage in my brain to remember all of these. They will probably read like new-to-me books if I do decide to reread them.😂
Haha I guess so.. The amount of books available in the world is increasing fast 🤣
Oh yes, we will never run out of books to read!
I haven’t read any of these, but I’d like to read Cruel Beauty. I find it hard to remember books I read a while ago. The book has to be really wonderful for me to remember it well. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Same, I usually remember books I loved. But books I generally liked or enjoyed tend to get fuzzy in my mind.
I almost added Bollywood Affair to my list, too. I loved that book! But most of the details are fuzzy.
Right? I remember it being such a fun book with detailed descriptions of Indian culture but now I really can’t remember much about it.
I haven’t read any of the books on your list but i’ve been meaning to pick up Cruel Beauty for the longest time! I actually think I started it but got busy and had to put it down ahaha 🙂
Here’s my TTT if you want to give it a look: https://taytalksbooks.wordpress.com/2018/01/23/top-ten-tuesdays-books-i-liked-but-cant-remember-much-about/
If you’re interested in a Beauty and the Beast retelling, you’ll probably enjoy Cruel Beauty too. I hope you remember more of it that I did.😂
I love For Darkness Shows the Stars, but it’s been years since I read it, so if you quizzed me on it, I’d probably fail.
I remember I read it pretty quickly and that I enjoyed it, but the details are really fuzzy.
This is why I should always write posts about the books I read! A few weeks on from reading a book that didn’t make a strong positive or negative impression on me, and I’ve forgotten 90% of things about it most times. It’s a real problem. :p
I used to write reviews for all the books I read too, but then I got lazy. 😛 I should still try to make an effort even if it’s just a couple of sentences so I can be reminded of what I thought of the book.
I see some familiar books in your list. If you’re going to re-read one of them, I recommend His Road Home. It really is a wonderful novella!
I remember thinking His Road Home was lovely, but I really can’t remember much about it!
The challenge is really those books that were “good” or “ok”, without being extraordinary in some way! I also find it happens to me more often with audiobooks!
