My last blog post was all about my best of 2017 reads, and now it’s time to talk about the new releases that I’m looking forward to in 2018! In no particular order, these are the books that I can’t wait to read this year:

Titles that don’t have covers yet:
Iron and Magic by Ilona Andrews (Hugh D’ Ambray’s book that will be released before Magic Triumphs)
The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden
Making Up by Lucy Parker
Saving Project Noah by Six de los Reyes
Chasing Mindy by Carla de Guzman
No titles or covers yet but I want the next installments in the following series:
Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona Andrews (the new serial has started on their blog but I prefer waiting for the full book)
Chic Manila series by Mina V. Esguerra
Are you also planning to read to any of the titles I listed here? What 2018 releases are you looking forward to?
Magic Triumphs! Obsidio!
— and now Spinning Silver, which I didn’t know about till I saw it here.
And I pre-ordered Making Up after seeing comments about it on Twitter. 2018 is shaping up to be a great year!
Yes! Two books that are conclusions to a series. It will be interesting to see how they wrap up the arcs
Spinning Silver was announced on Twitter recently and I was so excited to hear that there would be a similar book to Uprooted.
Oh, have you read Lucy Parker’s earlier books, Act Like It and Pretty Face? You should!
I’m with you on Naomi Novak’s. Once it’s out, it’ll be all the book blogging and vlogging community will be able to talk about for weeks!
Oh yes, pretty sure Spinning Silver will be getting a lot of buzz in the book blogosphere when it comes out. Uprooted was hugely popular (deservedly so) and many of us are starved for similar reads.
Have you read Lucy Parker’s earlier book, Artistic License, which was released under the name Elle Pierson? I enjoyed that one, too.
I’m certainly looking forward to her forthcoming book. I’m also looking forward to new books by Anne Bishop, Anne Cleeland, and Lisa Kleypas,
Yep, I have read Artistic License! I think it was available as a freebie for a while. Really enjoyed it too. I’m so excited for Making Up, it’s actually available for request on NetGalley but I don’t have such a good track record on that site so I don’t even want to attempt to request it.
