Look at Pegasus, making friends with my other Robin McKinley books! π I picked up my copy yesterday at Fully Booked for P798 and I can’t wait to read it. The Blue Sword is not included in the picture because my friend borrowed my copy. I think this is a sign that I should get another copy of The Blue Sword since it’s my favorite out of the bunch (aside from Beauty). Also, both Outlaws of Sherwood and Deerskin are used copies because they’re not available in local bookstores and yes, I haven’t read them yet.
Yay, you have Pegasus already!:) I hope you get to read it soon. Love the cover so much!
Yes, I was so excited to get it! Just need to finish the book that I’m currently reading so I could move on to this one. Although I’ll probably only read it at home because the hardcover is heavy.
You have the same editions as me on a lot of books.
Where is the Blue Sword?
It’s with a friend. π See comment below. Most of my editions are US editions, I think.
Oooppss… sorry, i’ll return the book soon so he can join pegasus and the rest π
No worries! Just give it back with the rest of the books that you finished next time we meet up. π
Pretty!
They look good together, don’t they? I wish I had hardcovers of all her books.
Pretty! π I saw Pegasus in Eastwood, too, and I want it…but I have no room for it yet.
Oh and speaking of McKinley. The only copy of Sunshine is gone! π¦ I think I’ll have to have the copy from Shang transferred…after our house has been renovated. This is what happens when you really have no shelves. haha. π
Tina, I was actually undecided on whether I should read Pegasus or wait for the second half of the story to be released but since that’s not happening until 2012, I couldn’t wait. π
Ooooh are you getting the sparkly new edition of Sunshine? I thought they had a lot of copies of those since I saw copies in different branches.
Yeah, I wanted to get the sparkly edition. I remember we saw some in Fully Booked Shang during the last FBB meet up. I’m hoping its still there. The one in Eastwood did not wait for me. ^^
Just call Fully Booked and ask them where they still have copies of the book. π
Ah. The McKinley section of your shelves. Such a hallowed section.
I myself have four copies of THE BLUE SWORD for just such emergencies. π
Angie, you need to take a picture of the McKinley section of your bookshelves. Four copies of The Blue Sword? π Plus I know you have several copies of Sunshine and you have that beautiful edition of Rose Daughter.
Oh happy day! What a lovely addition to your shelf! I can’t wait to hear how you like this one.
Michelle, I really like it so far! I feel bad that I fell asleep early last night so I wasn’t able to finish it but I plan to do so tonight.
