Reading Party

My friend Aya and I coined this term, Reading Party, when we were talking about weekends one time. We said that even though most of our friends go out on weekends and they dress up, go to the hottest clubs, drink and party, we’re content to stay at home, curled up with a good book. Don’t get me wrong, we also go out on weekends to meet up with friends. It’s just that, we’d be happy to stay at home and read. I told her that we can have our own party with our books and we can call it a Reading Party!

I just remembered it now because I don’t have plans this weekend and guess what I’m doing? Reading of course! To those who are staying in this weekend, I hope you have a good book to keep you company. πŸ™‚

  1. it’s nice that you have a good friend who loves reading too! and the two of you can get lost in your reading and then emerge all giddy to share what you read with each other. πŸ™‚

Especially now that the weather is getting cold, it’s nice to just cozy up at home and read a good book (with coffee? tea? chocolate?). :p

  2. I know! Even if we don’t like the same kind of books, she does read YA from time to time. πŸ™‚ The rainy season is perfect for curling up with a good book. Definitely tea or hot chocolate!
